The Remington Agency

The Remington Agency is one of the newest SAG (Screen Actors Guild) franchised agencies in Las Vegas. This means our actors will be given the opportunity to audition for many of the dozens of major motion pictures and television commercials that are filmed here in Las Vegas. But more than that, Remington has a sister-agency in Los Angeles with an agreement that they will represent all our people in LA, and we will represent all their people here in Vegas. No other agent in Las Vegas has this sweet of a deal! Now, you can sign with our agency, and be considered for hundreds of jobs being cast in LA!!

To view the web site of our sister agency, Henderson, Romo, Inc. go to HRITalent.com. Of course, we are an exclusive agency, and while this is not common in Las Vegas, it is the standard in Los Angeles... and it soon will be here, too! There are a lot of good reasons for this, so if you are not certain what it means, please click here to read more about it!

Agency Director Bio:

David G. Brown

A Brief Biographical Sketch

David G. Brown is a man who wears many hats, but prefers the simple felt of his Resistol cowboy hat. He has gained national fame as a writer and author, he has appeared in many movies and television shows as an actor, and performed all across the country riding bucking horses at professional rodeos. And all these things he did in addition to working full time for the FAA as an air traffic control specialist, now retired.

Brown spent more than 20 years as an air traffic controller, retiring from the North Las Vegas airport. He also has worked at the Reno/Tahoe International Airport, McCarran International in Las Vegas and at the Seattle Enroute Center. Brown also was a founding member of the National Air Traffic Controllers Association and previously was chairman of the legislative committee and a regional vice-president.

Brown’s acting career began with a stint as a cavalry trooper on the ABC television show “Young Riders,” which quickly led to appearances in more than a dozen movies and television shows and commercials. This also earned him his qualification for membership in the Screen Actor’s Guild.

Today, Brown owns the Remington Agency, a SAG franchised talent agency. In addition to handling actors for movies and television, he also represents many print and runway models.

As a writer, Brown was thrust into the national spotlight when his first book, Gold Buckle Dreams - the Rodeo Life of Chris LeDoux was released in 1987 and quickly became a regional #1 Bestseller. The biography was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize, and has become the best-selling rodeo book in history. He has another book, You Don’t Have to be Dumb to be Stupid, which he co-wrote with actor-comedian Bill Engvall, Here’s Your Sign (Longstreet Press).

In addition to authoring books, Brown has frequently been published in dozens of national magazines, from Air Line Pilot and U.S.News & World Report to Western Horseman and American Cowboy Magazine. He also is an accomplished photographer and has sold numerous photographs, many to accompany his articles for publication.

But beyond all the things he does, his first love is rodeo. Brown was a member of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association from 1984 to 1998, and in 1995 he finished among the top15 in the Turquoise Circuit to earn a berth at the Turquoise Circuit Finals Rodeo in the bareback bronc riding event.

Author, actor, air traffic controller, writer, photographer; all of these could accurately describe David Brown. But no title fits him so well as “cowboy.”
